Celebration of the Virgin of Coromoto

As in previous years, on the occasion of the upcoming feast of the Virgin of Coromoto, the Sunday 10 of September, It will be held in San Juan del Hospital the Feast of the Patron Saint of Venezuela. To the 17 h there will be a Mass for Venezuelans and for all who wish to join. Then we will have a "picaeta" in the Patio.

Our Lady of Coromoto is the patron saint of Venezuela (Diocese of Punto Fijo) and from the 19 November of 2011 Principal patron of the Archdiocese of Caracas. Is a dedicated Marian venerated both in the city of Guanate (capital of Portuguesa State in Venezuela), where appeared ago 363 years and you left your holy image to the chieftain of the tribe the Cospes called Coromoto. The Holy image is exposed for veneration in lower Basilica National Shrine of our Lady of Coromoto, built on the site of the second appearance.
